What Is Waterproof Zipper?
Waterproof Zipper, also known as Water repellent Zipper, Water Resistant zipper, etc., it's is a branch of Nylon Zipper, but with some special treatment. Commonly used special treatment methods include: sticking PVC film, sticking TPU film, soaking in waterproof agent, coating waterproof zipper, etc.
The main film material used for the waterproof zipper is PVC or TPU, these days the TPU material is more commonly used than PVC. The surface of Waterproof Zipper can be customized with different kinds of printing, silk screen or sublimation printing are both applicable.
However, it is should be noticed that, the common Waterproof Zipper only has splash-proof effect, cannot be used in places that require complete waterproofing, such as dive suit. Its common usage is in backpacks, jackets for a bit of waterproofing, but more usage is for decoration.
